Field practice for 4th year students (bachelor’s degree) of the Institute of Transport Constructions of KSUAE

“Engineering and organization of road construction works” and “Construction and reconstruction of auto roads” field practices for 4th year students (bachelor’s degree, “Auto Roads” faculty) was conducted on September 22, 2017 in accordance with activity plan of collaboration of the Institute of Transport Constructions of KSUAE and JSC “Tatavtodor”. The training was held on sites “Inhabited localities Nov. Kiner and Nov. Asheet” in Arsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan: Reconstruction of the ground road into V-grade asphalted road; reconstruction of the bridge (standard characteristics Г8+2*1) across the Asheet river confluent; auto road “Kazan-Malmyzh” km 41_800 – km 49+270 (construction of macadam and mastics (grade 10) surface). The students had visited production base of Arsky branch of JSC “Tatavtodor” to see the process of macadam and mastics asphalt-concrete mix preparation in the Аmmann Universal asphalt mixing plant and the laboratories and machinery repair shops of the of the enterprise. The students are always eager to go to such field practice sessions because there they can review their theoretical knowledge in practice, thus making their studies more effective. This time, field practice was headed by R.A. Faizullin, Deputy Technical Director of Road Construction dept. of JSC “Tatavtodor” and O.N. Ilyina, Ass. Prof., Deputy Director of Engineering Service of JSC “Tatavtodor”.
